ADVANCELL EM is comprised of thermally expandable microspheres (tiny plastic spheres) that can be blended with a base material and formed (foamed) to add various properties to the base material, such as weight reduction and flexibility.

By foaming the particles, it lowers the specific gravity and reduces the amount of base material, thereby contributing to weight reduction. It also provides heat insulation, sound insulation, and vibration isolation.
The sharp particle size distribution and separate air bubbles of the fine particles provide a smooth and refined finish.
Compatible with a variety of materials and molding methods, the expanding solution is useful not only for automobile components, but also in the fields of housing construction materials and household goods.
