Our Message

Welcome to the Minase Innovation Center Web site.
Minase is located on the border between Osaka and Kyoto Prefectures, and it is a very scenic place with many Japanese traditional Japanese poetries.

We, Sekisui Chemical Co. Ltd., opened our research laboratory here in 1961,
and have been creating new technologies and bringing out new products to the world.
In addition, our long-term vison “Vison 2030” declares "Innovation for the Earth,"
and we will support the foundation of LIFE and create "peace of mind for the future" toward the realization of a sustainable society.

To implement this long-term vision, we need to create new values for society.
In order to respond to the ongoing transformation and to stay ahead of it, we believe it is essential to cooperate not only with customers and suppliers,
but also with various research institutions, and with people from different fields and industries.
Therefore, we established the Innovation Center in Minase in 2020.
